TECHNICAL PAPER COMPETITION:-

YouthConnect, a Mitashi Group venture, is conducting a Technical Paper Competition for all the Engineering Colleges PAN India. The Research Paper Topics are as follows:
1. Social networking- today and tomorrow.
2. Internet a platform to ease today's life -Describe your priority on a web portal.
3. Significance of smart phones and applications in youth life.
4. Latest trend in web applications a youth is looking for.
The shortlisted technical papers will be evaluated by our esteemed panel of judges and the top three technical papers will be rewarded as follows:
1st Prize - Certificate & Cash Prize of Rs. 30000/-
2nd Prize to 3 entries - Certificate & Cash Prize of Rs. 10000/- each.
3rd Prize to 6 entries - Certificate & Cash Prize of Rs. 5000/- each.
Internship + Job Opportunity to top five students.
All participants will get a gift worth Rs.300/-
Guidelines for participation:
 Each & every participant should register (for free) on www.youthconnectindia.com from August 1, 2012 to October 31, 2012. (Please note that the personal details should be same as they appear on your college ID failing which, that member will be barred from YouthConnect benefits.)
 Maximum members for group submission are 5.
 The Technical Paper Should not exceed 20 Pages.
 Please note that REFERENCES are compulsory.
 Article should be an original and unpublished work of the author and there should be no plagiarism.

Research Paper Competition
 File should be named as <College Name>_<Team Code>_<City>. The Team code will be provided on registration.
 The Research Papers are to be uploaded on www.youthconnectindia.com as per guidelines on the website.
 If the submission is not done in the above format, the entries will be rejected.

STREET PLAYCOMPETITION:-

YouthConnect, a Mitashi Group venture, is conducting a Street Play Competition for all the Degree colleges PAN India. The Street Play Topics are as follows:
1. Don’t teach me, I am a grown up now.
2. Why can’t anybody understand us for God’s sake!!
3. A glimpse of independent student life
4. Addiction
5. Parent dominance on career
6. Girls vs. Boys
7. Mr. /Miss show off!!
The shortlisted street plays will be evaluated on the basis of number of LIKEs and SHAREs on FACEBOOK fan page for the video and the winning team will be rewarded as follows:
1st Prize - Certificate & Cash Prize of Rs. 30000/-
2nd Prize to 3 entries - Certificate & Cash Prize of Rs. 10000/- each.
3rd Prize to 6 entries - Certificate & Cash Prize of Rs. 5000/- each.
One participant from every participating college will get an opportunity to be a YouthConnect Volunteer. Moreover all participants will get a gift worth Rs.300/-.
Guidelines for participation:

 There can be minimum 5 and maximum 10 members per team.
 Only 1 entry per team is allowed. Competition is open for all institutions across India.
 There is no limit on number of teams that can participate from a particular institution.
 The video should be original.
 Communication language used in video should be in English and/or Hindi.
Research Paper Competition
 Size of the video should not exceed 15 MB (ideal size 5MB) and the team members should be visible and content should be clear.
 Video should not contain any obscene, vulgar or any content which could call up disrespectful comments towards any human being, religion or nation
 All video submissions should be in .AVI, .WMV, .MPG, 3GP or any format that can be played back on VLC media player
 Video file should be named as <College Name>_<Team Code>_<City>. The Team code will be provided on registration.
 The Street play videos are to be uploaded on www.youthconnectindia.com as per guidelines on the website.
 After initial screening, YouthConnect team will upload it on Facebook.
 Any submission of copied videos in whole will lead to instant disqualification of the team
